Scythian Aurora was the first song we put together as a band. Though everyone of us already had experience with making music, it was clear to us that we hadn't done anything of this scope before. The composition is at the same time intricate and aggressive, paying homage to Lamb of God. We knew we had something with potential from the moment we first heard this song on the record. The lyrics revolve around rage, a desire for restitution after great harm has been suffered, their meaning is kept mostly under wraps as to not force any interpretations on the listeners and let them make up their own mind.
