Ocean Bed was challenging from the get-go. It's unusual cadence in the beat was hell to pull off during rehearsals at first, but to this day remains of our favorites. Its upbeat, rock n' roll feel leads you on unwittingly into a sinister black metal-inspired passage, much like the treachery of undertow. The lyrics refer to an unwilling separation between two individuals, possibly parted by time or the revolution at stake; the oceanic theme being a recurrent one in the vocalist's writing.
